Kimberly got Punk out of the stable and tacked him up, he looked quite oke. He wasn't fully awake yet probably. After he was tacked up and Kimberly got everything she needed to bring with her she walked outside so she could get on. The fresh air was his wake up call. His eyes were wide open and he was making lots of noise to let the mares know he was there. Kimberly got a little embarrased and made him face the other side so he didn't see the horses anymore. She said one last prayer and got on his back. She felt like she was sitting on a time bomb. Which could go of any moment. And so it did. When she got one him and placed her feet in the stirrups he turned around in a very quick movement. Kimberly grabbed the reins and tried to let him stay there but he was way too strong and trotted to the other horses. Kimberly pulled the reins and shouted at him. " listen to me !! " Well he did stop bothering the other horses and riders but now he just kept rearing and spinning on his place. She never have ridden him like this, how was she suppose to get him to the switching point ?? She sat up straight and leaned forward, trying not to pull in his mouth which might make him fall backwards. " hooooo ! easy now ...sssh.. " After about 15 times of lifting his front legs she got him down on all 4 legs again and walked him in rounds. Eagerly waiting for the start. Her heart beating so fast that she felt kinda sick. It will be alright, it will be alright. She kept repeating this to herself and tried to relax a bit.
